Pigletz is unique project mixing DeFi services and game, wrapped into an NFT. A Piglet is an NFT having a utility as a piggy bank where users can deposit crypto tokens and earn PiFi tokens. It is an item that can exist in the Metaverse. And also can exist in the real world. But not in both.

Company Overview

Pigletz is a GameFi startup producing toys for the metaverse. Their first project is the Pigletz NFT – a unique collection of digital piggy banks coming in the form of an upgradable NFT and having DeFi utilities. Pigletz has a strong community and can be found on multiple marketplaces and exchanges.

Project Elements

Pigletz is a complex project combining multiple technologies and variety of specialist. BlackDeep Technologies developed it in full. From the 3D modelling and rendering to software development, hosting and testing.

3D Art / Modeling / Rendering

2D artist prepared the concept. Then 3D artist made the base models. Programmers wrote plugins to make it possible to render huge amount of models. Finally we built a cloud based rendering farm in order to render tens of thousands of high quality 3D models with post-processing. 

Smart Contract Development

With over 10,000 lines of code Pigletz is among the most complex smart contract based projects. And it works flawlessly for years already. 

Web / Mobile Apps

We built a state-of-the-art web dApp working directly with the blockchain for the critical data and optimized for SEO and speed. It is accompanied with Android and iOS native apps, published on the app stores.

Backend & DevOps

To support advanced features and to optimize user experience we added bunch of services complementing the smart contract functionalities. As usual we built them over a highly scalable cloud infrastructure. 

Tools

We developed variety of auxiliary tools for the Pigletz project to happen. From plugins for the 3D software to the metadata generators and image processors. 

Discord Bots

In order to engage Pigletz community we developed Discord bots organizing games, sharing rewards, connecting user profiles with their wallets and more.

    NFT Collection

    Pigletz is a collection of 12,345 ERC721 NFTs. They are all unique and decentralized. Their metadata resides on IPFS and the collections are listed on Binance NFT and OpenSea. The collection has some special features such as upgradability (level up), genders, gamification and more. Also it is cross-chain supporting all EVM compatible blockchains.

    DeFi

    Pigletz is a collection of NFTs having a utility of a piggy bank where users can store their tokens. Each token comes with a unique smart contract that securely keeps user tokens. And in order to withdraw the user needs to break the piggy bank thus burning the NFT. Along with that Pigletz also mint their own ERC20 utility token called PiFi which is used within the Pigletz eco-system.

    3D Printing

    Pigletz is the first NFT that can be materialized in the real world using 3D printing. For that we developed a novel protocol which not only allows the user to have the NFT in the real form but also binds the NFT with the 3D print in such a way that the physical object acts like a hardware wallet which the user uses to control the NFT and the token wallet attached to it.

    Gaming

    Pigletz feature many mini-games additionally engaging the users. Additionally we built a games over Decentraland metaverse where the users can interact with the Pigletz DeFi services in a unique way.
